General Information
This online store is operated by Universal Music A/S (hereinafter "UMG Shop"), Dronningensgade 68, 1st floor, 1420 Copenhagen K, VAT no. 43324616.

By placing an order on UMG SHOP, you agree to the terms and conditions below. Please read them carefully. We update these terms from time to time — your purchase is always governed by the version in effect at the time of checkout.
Prices
All prices are shown in your local currency based on your selected market and include VAT and applicable duties where required. We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice. Reservations are made for pricing errors, currency fluctuations, and sold-out or discontinued items.
Payment
UMG Shop accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Klarna, Shop Pay, and MobilePay.
All transactions are encrypted and processed securely through our payment provider. Your card details and personal information are never accessible to unauthorised parties during the transaction.
Your payment is charged once the item ships. For pre-orders, payment is taken at the time you place the order. Please note that payment terms for pre-orders may vary by payment method (e.g. Klarna or other buy-now-pay-later services).
Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders placed before 2:00 PM (CET) the same business day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM are typically shipped the following business day. Public holidays, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause minor delays.
Items are delivered to the address you provide at checkout. If there's no room at the delivery point, your parcel will be redirected to the nearest pick-up point and you'll be notified. If any issues arise, contact our customer service team.
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, we recommend refusing delivery — this makes the claims process faster and allows us to send a replacement sooner.

All orders within Denmark are delivered via PostNord or GLS.

All prices include Norwegian VAT (MVA). UMG Shop is registered under Norway's VOEC scheme (Simplified Registration for VAT on E-Commerce) — no additional import fees or duties will be charged at delivery. For single items valued above NOK 3,000 or items excluded from the VOEC scheme, standard import procedures apply, including VAT, duties, and customs clearance fees.

All delivery times are estimated from the date of dispatch, not the date of purchase. Shipping rates are subject to change.
We don't replace standard CD or DVD cases damaged in transit, unless the packaging is a special format (such as digipacks) that can't be easily replaced. Damage that occurs during shipping is the responsibility of the carrier.
Product Disclaimers
Coloured vinyl: Variations in shade, small specks, and colour shifts are normal in coloured vinyl production and are not considered defects.
Metallic-finish garments: Surface treatments that create a silver, gold, or metallic look will gradually fade with washing. We recommend following the care label closely, hand-washing where possible, turning the garment inside out, and using a laundry bag.
Playback issues: Budget turntables can cause skipping on records that play perfectly on other equipment. If you experience playback problems, please test the record on a different player before contacting us about an exchange.
Complaints & Warranty
You have a 2-year right of complaint under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven). This covers defects in materials and manufacturing. Depending on the situation, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or price reduction. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use or handling.
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time of discovering the issue. UMG Shop will cover return costs to a reasonable extent; however, in warranty cases the customer is responsible for return shipping.

We do not accept cash-on-delivery (COD) shipments.

Refunds
For refunds processed via bank transfer, please provide your registration and account number. This information can safely be shared by email — it is not sensitive data and will only be used to process your refund.
Right of Withdrawal
You have 14 days to return items purchased from our webshop. The period starts on the day you receive the order — or in the case of multiple shipments, from the day you receive the last item or consignment.
Return shipping is at your own expense.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, notify us by email at support@umgshop.com within 14 days of receiving your order. You then have a further 14 days to ship the return. Your notification must clearly state that you wish to withdraw. You can also initiate the return through our returns portal within the same timeframe.
Simply refusing delivery does not count as a withdrawal — you must actively notify us.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to: items made to your specifications or personalised to your order; sealed items that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened; and items where the original seal has been broken.
What Happens After Withdrawal
Once you withdraw, we will refund the full amount you paid — including standard delivery costs. If you chose a premium shipping option, the difference between that and our cheapest standard option is non-refundable. The refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method as your original purchase. No fees will be charged for the refund.
We may hold the refund until we've received the returned items or you've provided proof of shipment, whichever comes first.
You're responsible for the direct cost of returning the items.
You may inspect items the way you would in a physical store — for example, trying on a garment — but items showing signs of use beyond that may lose value. We consider used clothing to have a value of DKK 0, as we do not sell pre-owned items.
Privacy
To process your order, we collect your name, address, phone number, email address, and purchase details.
We handle your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Danish data protection law. The legal basis is contract performance (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) — we need your data to fulfil your order and respond to any related enquiries.
